Charlotte Ashton, Palatine Private Equity


Charlotte is Head of Business Development at Palatine Private Equity maintaining an investment pipeline through developing relationships with ambitious management teams seeking cash-out to support buy-out led transactions. Charlotte also oversees the Non-Executive network, facilitating introductions to support the investment process.

Sarah Hex, Mercia Asset Management PLC 


Sarah joined Mercia in 2018 and has over 20 years’ banking experience. As Business Development Manager across the North of England, she is passionate about supporting small and medium-sized businesses and helping them to achieve their growth ambitions and fulfil their potential, through the range of funds from Mercia across Venture, Equity and Debt. Sarah’s experience is previously within finance, with Santander Business Bank as a head of business development, Commercial Director with RBS Commercial Bank and HSBC, throughout Yorkshire and the North West. She is experienced in lending to the SME sector across a range of sectors and supporting fast-growth businesses, and most recently successfully establishing the business development strategy for a team of lending and banking directors.

Samantha Piddington, Deepridge Capital


Sam Piddington rejoined Deepbridge in May 2019, after previously being a Partner in the business between 2010 and 2012. A chartered accountant and corporate financier, she previously worked with a number of leading accountancy companies and City firms, including Andersen (now Deloitte) and Hawkpoint Partners (now Canaccord). She will be working with Deepbridge investee companies to further develop and action exit strategies and co-funding opportunities.
